About Latin Revival Press

Latin Revival Press is the publishing imprint of Latin Revival. We prepare accessible editions of Catholic classics, catechisms, Scripture, and spiritual works for readers who want to study, pray, and live the faith more deeply.

Our Publishing Mission

Latin Revival Press exists to help preserve and present the riches of Catholic tradition for modern readers. Our catalog includes catechisms, devotional works, spiritual classics, Scripture editions, Church documents, and other works drawn from the Catholic intellectual and spiritual heritage.

Many of the works we publish have formed generations of Catholics. Our goal is to make these texts easier to approach without weakening their substance, reverence, or doctrinal seriousness.

What We Publish

Our editions focus especially on Catholic catechesis, prayer, moral conversion, spiritual formation, Church history, and classic works of devotion. We publish books for families, catechists, students, converts, lifelong Catholics, and readers who are discovering the faith for the first time.

Titles from Latin Revival Press may include classic source texts, historical introductions, editorial notes, glossaries, reading plans, prayers, indexes, and other reader aids where appropriate.

Our Editorial Approach

Latin Revival Press distinguishes original historical texts from editorial additions. When we add introductions, annotations, glossaries, reading guides, prayers, indexes, or explanatory material, these additions are prepared to help readers better understand the work and its Catholic context.

Some editions preserve the original wording closely. Others may include modernized spelling, formatting improvements, or explanatory helps for readability. Each book page describes the nature of the edition so readers can understand what is included.

Editorial Standards

Latin Revival Press works to preserve the integrity of the Catholic works it publishes. When an edition is based on a public-domain source text, we seek to present that work faithfully while making it accessible for modern readers.

Editorial additions may include introductions, annotations, glossaries, reading plans, prayers, indexes, formatting improvements, and explanatory notes. These additions are prepared to help readers understand the text, its Catholic context, and its practical spiritual value.

Where spelling, punctuation, or formatting has been modernized, the purpose is readability, not alteration of doctrine or meaning. Original source texts and editorial additions are kept distinct wherever appropriate, so readers can understand what belongs to the original work and what has been added by Latin Revival Press.

Why These Books Matter

Catholic classics endure because they speak to permanent questions: how to know the faith, how to pray, how to repent, how to grow in virtue, how to prepare for death, and how to live with eternity in view.

Latin Revival Press seeks to keep these works available in editions that are useful for personal reading, family study, catechesis, parish use, and deeper spiritual reflection.

Independent Catholic Publishing

Latin Revival Press is an independent Catholic publishing imprint based in Ontario, Canada. We are not an official organ of any diocese or religious order. Our aim is to publish faithful, accessible, and reverent editions that encourage love for Christ, His Church, and the Catholic tradition.
